Throughout the course of the residency, we visited various locations in the Cilento region. One of them was a tiny town called Capaccio where I found this green gem nestled in a concrete sea of ‘orangy’ grunge. Previously I had painted doors with very strong contrast but this day I wanted to try one complete in the shade. Also, I was working up quite the sunburn so I needed a break from that burning mozzarella ball in the sky.
